Lets Do ThisA Yoga Community That Supports You Beyond the Mat
Being a yoga teacher isn’t just about guiding classes—it’s about being part of something bigger, a community that values and supports you. It’s easy to feel like you’re just teaching many classes but still feel lonely, bouncing from studio to studio, getting from class to class without a strong support network. But that’s not how we vibe at Nin Yoga & Kaya Academy.
We're here to ensure you have whatever you need to feel like you are not taking this path alone.
A thriving and sustainable yoga career is built on community, collaboration, and continuous learning. When you do ongoing learning with us, you don’t just walk away with a certificate and then “Well that's that, see you later alligator”—you become part of a network of like-minded teachers who support, inspire, and uplift each other even after the training ends.
Our training doesn't end when you receive your certificate. It's the beginning of a journey with a group of passionate yogis who, like you, are committed to deepening their practice, refining their teaching, and growing together. Through our private online community, in-person meetups, and ongoing mentorship, you’ll always have a place to ask questions, share experiences, and celebrate wins—big and small.
I'm in!
Support, Sustainability & Community for Yoga Teachers
We understand the solitary nature of teaching yoga. It can often feel like a lonely path, with you holding space for others, guiding students through transformation, and pouring your energy into creating meaningful classes. But who’s holding space for YOU?Â
We WANT TO provide that support.
We have known many yoga teachers who have burnt out because they’re constantly giving, juggling multiple classes, travelling from one dang place to the next, and struggling to balance teaching, personal practice (if it even exists anymore), and financial sustainability. It’s easy to fall into a cycle of overworking, undercharging, and feeling disconnected from a supportive community.
This 300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training isn’t just about deepening your skills—it’s about building a career that nourishes you just as much as you have always nourished your cherished students.
The goal is to help you build a teaching career that is sustainable, fulfilling, and community-driven. With this one year long training, you’ll gain the tools to avoid burnout, refine your teaching craft, and develop multiple income streams. This means you can thrive as a yoga teacher without sacrificing your well-being (aka, practice what you preach!)
Â
Sometimes feeling a little... meh?
The best yoga teachers are lifelong students. Lets reignite your passion, give you fresh inspiration, and connect you with like-minded humans who are just as dedicated to learning and growing and flourishing in this wild and precious life as much as you are.
Our comprehensive training covers intelligent sequencing, deeper philosophy, business and branding, energetics, and of course, our favourite, personal reflection.
We will elevate your confidence, creativity, and clarity as a teacher. With our support network, mentorship, and private community, you’ll never feel like you’re doing this big and beautiful thing alone.
Together, let’s build a sustainable, supportive, and inspiring yoga career. 💛

Payment Plan
Get started for $80, then pay every single week after for 52 weeks, a total of $4160.
What makes this 300-hour Teacher Training different from others, you ask?
As a teacher since 2015, and studio owner since 2017, there are a few key points to mention about this particular training that make it different from ALLLLL of the rest out there at the moment.
Sunday classes. We have noticed that most of our community works in full-time roles, and the weekend is full of commitments. Teacher training is usually not accessible (anyone else got little kiddies?!). So, for this round, we have scheduled classes on Sunday, 9:15 am to 4:15 pm in person or 9:15 am - 12:15 pm on Zoom, with minimal homework during the week, as we know you have a whole bunch on your plate already. FYI - It's not every single consecutive Sunday; some fall on holidays, and if you need to miss a Sunday here and there, that is totally ok too! We have a way for you to catch up with ease ;)
Extended payment plans. As someone who does not own a money tree out the back, the only way ongoing learning has been accessible to me is through payment plans. We wanted to stretch these out and give ourselves up to 52 weeks to pay it off at $80 a week.
Exceptional Faculty. All of the teachers in this 300-hour teacher training are absolute experts in their field and are respected by our industry and beyond. It has always been such an honour to bring these teachers out to Western Sydney, and we look forward to hosting them!
Every session is recorded. Have to miss a session? Totally all good. We will have an online resource for every single one if you need to catch up on our online platform.
Optional India Retreat. Teachers enrolled have the option to join us in Goa, India, for a 7-day retreat, which includes 20 hours of Pranayama practise with Gaurav Malik.
We’re DIVERSE. We have been running yoga teacher trainings since 2020 and have always been known for our accessibility and diversity. The same goes for our 300-hour.
We at Nin Yoga are based in Western Sydney, surrounded by people of diverse socioeconomic backgrounds.

You are welcome.
Modules Explored
Advanced Alignment, Functional Anatomy & Womb Wisdom
Refine your eye. Strengthen your voice. Elevate your teaching.
This module deepens your understanding of movement mechanics, intelligent sequencing, and precise cueing. Led by alignment and anatomy expert Suzie Q, we explore standing postures, backbends, balances, inversions, and refined transitions through the lens of biomechanics and functional anatomy.
We also explore Womb Yoga — cyclical awareness, pelvic intelligence, and honouring the phases of the feminine body. You’ll learn how hormonal rhythms and life stages influence energy, sequencing, and capacity — giving you tools to teach with greater sensitivity and depth.
This is about teaching bodies — not shapes.
Subtle Anatomy, Energetics & Mudras
Yoga is more than musculoskeletal movement.
In this module, we move into the energetic layers of practice: chakras, nadis, koshas, bandhas, and the subtle systems that influence vitality and emotional clarity.
We also explore Mudras, sacred hand gestures that direct prana and shift internal states. You’ll learn how to integrate mudras into asana, pranayama, and meditation to deepen the inner experience for your students.
This is where teaching becomes layered. Intentional. Powerful.
Yoga Philosophy & Sacred Texts
Knowledge without integration is just information.
Led by Katie Rose, this module brings the Yoga Sutras, Bhagavad Gita, and Ayurveda into lived experience. We explore how these teachings apply to modern life, ethical leadership, discipline, devotion, and sustainable living.
You will not just study philosophy — you will learn how to embody it and teach from it.
Meditation, Pranayama & Breathwork
Your breath is your power.
This module develops your capacity to guide meditation, pranayama, and modern breathwork practices with confidence and depth.
We explore:
-
Traditional pranayama techniques
-
Nervous system regulation and breath science
-
Conscious connected breathwork foundations
-
Breath as a tool for emotional processing and resilience
-
The neuroscience behind breath-centred transformation
If you join us in Goa, India, you will complete 20 hours of immersive Pranayama training in person. If not, these hours are completed through guided recordings and structured assessment.
You graduate with practical skill — not just theory — and the confidence to hold powerful, regulated breath-led spaces.
Somatics, Trauma-Informed Yoga, Restorative Practice & Accessibility
Modern teachers need modern tools.
This module integrates somatic movement principles, trauma-informed frameworks, restorative yoga, and hands-off assisting to create safer, more inclusive spaces.
We also focus on asana accessibility, learning how to adapt postures and language so that yoga is truly available to all bodies — not just the flexible ones.
Your teaching becomes adaptable, responsive, and deeply intelligent.
Creative Sequencing & Intuitive Teaching
Step beyond formula.
Learn how to build classes that are structured yet intuitive, strong yet spacious. We explore assists, theming, storytelling, pacing, music integration, and energetic arc.
You’ll refine your teaching voice so that it feels authentic, confident, and unmistakably yours.
Activism & Yoga for Social Change
Yoga is not separate from the world.
This module explores cultural awareness, accessibility, representation, and how yogic ethics intersect with social justice.
You’ll examine your role as a teacher within your community and learn how to embody yoga as conscious action — not performance.
Sound Healing, Mantra & Yoga Nidra
There is power in stillness.
Through mantra, sound healing, and 20 hours of Yoga Nidra, you will learn how to guide students into profound states of restoration and integration.
This module strengthens your ability to support nervous system healing and deep subconscious work.
Voice Coaching
Your voice is your instrument.
Work with a professional voice coach to refine tone, pacing, projection, and presence. Build confidence in leading a room while protecting your vocal health long term.
Clear voice. Clear leadership.
Business, Branding & Sustainable Career Building
Teaching yoga should not lead to burnout.
This module equips you with practical systems for pricing, branding, marketing, income diversification, and ethical leadership.
We focus on longevity — so your career supports you back.
Seva, Self-Reflection & Community Engagement
Yoga is service.
As part of this training, you will complete 20 hours of Karma Yoga (Seva) — volunteering in a way that aligns with your values. We can help you find placement, or you may choose your own.
This isn’t just a requirement.
It’s a reminder that yoga lives beyond the mat.

Who Is This Training For?
Our 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training is designed for passionate yoga teachers looking for something a lil different.
If you want to refine your skills, deepen your understanding, and create a sustainable, fulfilling yoga career, we got you!
Yoga Teachers Seeking Growth & Inspiration
Suppose you’ve already completed a 200-hour teacher training but feel like you’re teaching the same tired sequences, are craving more depth, or just unsure of your next steps. In that case, this training will reignite your passion and help you evolve into a more confident, well-rounded teacher. We focus on advanced sequencing, energetics, subtle anatomy, trauma-informed practices, and business development to help you refine your voice and expand your offerings.
Yoga Teachers Seeking Sustainability & Community
Teaching yoga can be isolating, and many teachers experience burnout from overworking, undercharging, or feeling like they have to figure everything out on their own. This training provides the tools to create a sustainable, long-term yoga career while surrounding you with a supportive network of like-minded teachers and mentors, where you'll feel included and supported.
Yoga Teachers Who Want to Specialise & Diversify
This training is ideal for those who want to expand their expertise beyond general group classes. Whether you’re interested in trauma-informed yoga, somatics, womb yoga, sound healing, advanced sequencing, or business mentorship, this training will help you develop specialised skills to set yourself apart in the industry.
Â
Who Is This Training NOT For?
- Brand-new yogis: This training requires a solid foundation in yoga practice and philosophy. If you’re new to yoga, we recommend starting with our 200-hour training and attending regular studio classes before considering this 300-hour course.
- Those looking for a quick certification: This is not a fast-track program. Our training is in-depth, immersive, and requires dedication. If you’re looking for a quick qualification without the commitment to personal and professional growth, this may not be the right fit. We recommend looking for online courses or month-long immersions if you would like to get it done faster.
- People unwilling to engage in self-reflection and personal work: This training involves deep inquiry, mentorship, and self-exploration. We encourage an open mind, willingness to learn, and the ability to reflect on one's growth as both a teacher and a student.
This 300-hour training is for those who want to grow, refine, and sustain their yoga teaching career while being supported by a strong, inspiring community of teachers. It's a place where you can connect, engage, and learn from each other, fostering a sense of shared learning and growth.
We’d love to welcome you into our next training cohort if you already have your 200-hour certification and this sounds like your vibe, and hey, if it's not, that is totally ok too! 💛

"I just didn't realise the depth of what you would learn in yoga on the teacher training course, and I'm just so grateful it has just opened my world, my mind, my heart to a whole, a whole new world that I just didn't even really understand existed.
I'm so very grateful to all of the teachers Annika has collected and brought onto this course. They have all been phenomenal. They're all absolute experts in their subject matter.
I highly recommend it to anyone who's thinking about doing yoga teacher training in Sydney. Make the drive out to Penrith. It is amazing. You will not regret it. It's just been fabulous. Thank you so much."
- Ness
"My journey with yoga was very asana-focused and posture-focused. So, coming to my Yoga Teacher Training, I thought, "I know what I'm doing; I do yoga all the time. I know I can do this."
Little did I know that the internal, subtle energies of yoga really changed who I am as a person and has opened up an energy within me that I cannot wait to now take out into our communities and share.
Thank you, Annika, so much. I'm honoured and grateful to be a part of your community, and I cannot wait to share my journey with you and those around us."
