Time: 11:00am – 1:00pm
Location: Nin Yoga Penrith

This progressive 4-week inversion series is designed to help you build the strength, technique and confidence needed to get upside down safely and with greater control.

Across four 2-hour workshops, Laura Kernahan will guide you through intelligent, safe progressions that break inversions down step by step. Each week builds on the last, giving you the consistency and structure to make real progress.

Throughout the series, you'll explore:

  • Handstand foundations and progressions

  • Forearm stands

  • Supported headstands

  • Arm balances

  • Wrist, shoulder and core preparation

  • Wall drills and safe entry techniques

  • Alignment and body line awareness

  • How to fall safely and confidently

  • Partner spotting and support

  • Conditioning exercises to help build your inversion practice

Beginner friendly, with progressions for different levels.

You don't need to already be able to handstand or have an established inversion practice to join. Laura will provide options so you can work from where you are while still being challenged as your skills develop.

Laura has been upside down for most of her life and has taught handstand and inversion workshops at yoga studios, gyms and retreats around Australia. A long-time member of the Nin Yoga community, her teaching is fun, engaging and accessible, with a focus on helping students build confidence while understanding the technique behind what they're doing.

Returning students are also very welcome. If you've completed Inversion Foundations before, this is an opportunity to keep building on what you've already learned, refine your technique and work towards your next progression.

If you miss a session, every workshop will be recorded and made available through the Kaya Academy online platform so you can catch up or revisit the drills in your own time.

Limited to 14 students to allow for individual attention and hands-on support.

Four weeks. Eight hours of practice. A structured opportunity to build strength, refine your technique and become more confident upside down.
